Hip-hop artist 2 Chainz made an allusive sharing on his Instagram after the rioters invaded the US Capitol and one of the men stole Nancy Pelosi’s lectern.
On Wednesday, the supporters of Trump climbed on the walls of the Capitol building in Washington, DC, and managed to get inside the building to stop the certification process in the House and Senate.
One of the rioters posed with US House Speaker’s Podium and the photo of the unidentified man went viral on social media. Most of the people were both embarrassed and made fun of the rioter at the same time.
After the protests settled down, the podium was seen on the auction site eBay under the title of ‘House of Representatives Speaker Podium.’ It is not clear whether that podium was the original or the person carrying the podium in the photo was able to leave the building with it.
On Thursday, the 43-year-old rapper also saw the lectern on eBay and shared it on his Instagram implying that if he bought it he would directly charge with receiving stolen goods.
Here’s the caption:
“I get dis mudafuca, they gone charge me with receiving stolen goods”
The fans of the Georgia rapper also thought the same things and wrote funny comments under his post.
A fan gave advice and wrote:
“Tell em you thought it was a replica”
Another follower agreed with the rapper and said:
“Nigga soon as you pay for that shit, That whole profile will be deleted.”
