Iconic New York rapper 50 Cent has revealed the details that he tried before to fight professional boxing promoter and former professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather.
The ruthless beef between professional boxing promoter and retired professional boxer Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr and iconic hip-hop star 50 Cent has been going on for years.
50 Cent said he was trying to end the beef with Floyd in the boxing ring, but apparently, this is not likely to happen. In a recent interview with ‘Radio.com’ and ‘V-103’s The Morning Culture,’ Fifty said he was willing to come into the ring with Floyd.
Here’s what the rapper said:
“I’d fight Floyd (Mayweather). I don’t think I could make weight though. … Or he’d just have to let me not get down to 150. I tried I looked like a homeless person. I could make it down to probably, like 180.”
Despite the rapper’s taunts, Mayweather doesn’t seem to be interested in fighting Fifty. Instead, Mayweather seems focused on avenging Nate Robinson by going after Jake Paul’s brother, Logan Paul. The fight was originally supposed to take place on February 20, but the pandemic forced the fight to move to a later date.
Floyd also seems to be willing to show that Conor McGregor is not the man that everyone thinks he is. Floyd made it clear, after McGregor’s loss to Dustin Poirier, that McGregor is just a subject of discussion because he is white.
