Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla told CNBC’s Bertha Coombs during an event with CVC Health that the third dose of Covid vaccine is likely required within 12 months. Saying that people may need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus every year, Bourla said it is extremely important to suppress the pool of people that may be susceptible to the virus.
Here’s the statement:
“A likely scenario is that there will be likely a need for a third dose, somewhere between six and 12 months and then from there, there will be an annual revaccination, but all of that needs to be confirmed. And again, the variants will play a key role.
It is extremely important to suppress the pool of people that can be susceptible to the virus.”
Following the statement of Pfizer CEO, New York rapper 50 Cent reacted to the statement on his Instagram account and looked hopeless by his crucial statement with the caption:
“So the baby powder joint giving women blood clots, and this one ain’t working. Wtf I’m going back in the house.”
But 50 Cent’s fans said he shouldn’t have been so desperate. Some of his followers reminded him of being shot 9 times in 2000 and tried to encourage him by telling him nothing would happen.
A fan commented:
“Dude you got shot nine times and you still here you’ll be fine.”
“The real vaccine is a strong immune system lol.”
