Aaron Paul Says ‘My Heart Is Broken’ As He Mourns After The Death Of His Actor Friend

American actor Aaron Michael Paul, known for his role as Jesse Pinkman in the television series Breaking Bad and receiving three Emmys, shared a very touching post after the death of beloved character actor Clark Middleton via his official Instagram account.

Clark Middleton, 63, passed away on Monday because of the West Nile Virus, and his wife Elissa confirmed the death of the actor. Actor, director, and producer Clark Middleton was known for his supporting roles in ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 2 “Sin City,” “Fringe,” “Snowpiercer,” and “The Blacklist.”

Following the death of the actor, his co-star Aaron Paul in Hulu’s The Path showed how much he loved and respected Middleton by writing a touching message under the actor’s picture on his social media. Paul stated at the beginning of the note that he did not know how to describe his feelings because he felt so sad. Saying that he did not know where to begin to tell his feelings, the actor later explained how much his heart was broken by this news. He emphasized that a great person had passed away today, someone he loved and therefore he felt he should write something.

In the continuation of the long note he shared, Paul honored Middleton by stating that he was one of the people who loved acting most. In his praiseworthy words, he stated that he felt very lucky to have had the chance to take part in the same project and spend time with him and that they were very good friends.

Describing Clark Middleton as a fighter, Paul also said that he always kept his head up, regardless of the circumstances. He stated that it was a great gift for him to be able to be in his presence and to learn a little from him.

Paul ended his tribute showing his love for his beloved friend while pointing out that Middleton showed him how power really looks. Regardless, he thanked Middleton for giving so much and said goodbye to his friend for the last time and ended his post with the words “Rest In Peace you wonderful man you” by adding that he hated this situation he had to write.

Here’s what he said:

“I don’t even know where to begin with this news. All I know is that we lost one of the good ones today. My heart is broken. I love this man so much and felt like I needed to say something. Clark Middleton loved to act more than anyone I have ever met in my life and he was damn good at it. I had the privilege to work with him for many years and became dear friends with him through the process. He loved people and he knew movies. Like nobody I have ever met before.

He loved movies and TV and was proud to be in this business. He was a fighter and a beautiful one at that. He always kept his head up no matter the circumstances. What a gift it was to be in his presence and learn just a little bit from him. My friend. My beautiful friend. I love you and I miss you. Thank you for showing me what strength really looks like. Thank you for giving it your all no matter what. I hate that I am writing this right now. I don’t know what else to do. Rest In Peace you wonderful man you.”
