Adam Levine Says ‘You Changed Everything’ As He Mourns The Death Of Eddie Van Halen

The well-known frontman of Maron 5, Adam Levine, has shared a rare picture of the late legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen via his official Instagram account and penned down an emotional note to mourn the death of the icon of Van Halen.

As you might remember, Van Halen‘s co-founder and guitarist Eddie Van Halen had been battling with throat cancer for over a decade. On Tuesday, Eddie’s son Wolfgang Van Halen shared a sad statement on his Twitter account and announced his father’s death at 65.

Here’s how Wolfgang announced the death of Eddie Van Halen:

“I can’t believe I’m having to write this, but my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long and arduous battle with cancer this morning.

He was the best father I could ever ask for. Every moment I’ve shared with him on and off stage was a gift.

My heart is broken, and I don’t think I’ll ever fully recover from this loss.

I love you so much, Pop.“

After the tragic death news of Eddie Van Halen, most of his musician friends and fans took to social media to pay their respect to the legend guitarist. One of them was Adam Levine.

Marron 5’s frontman Adam Levine shared a throwback picture of Eddie on Instagram and penned down a heartbreaking note to mourn his death:
