British singer/songwriter Adele offers a rare update on the release date of her upcoming album, but it is still unclear.
On Friday, the 32-year-old singer jumped to Instagram to share a book she just read titled ‘Untamed: Stop Pleasing, Start Living by Glennon Doyle.’ She mentioned in the caption that how much the book affected her while reading.
“This book will shake your brain and make your soul scream. I am so ready for myself after reading this book! It’s as if I just flew into my body for the very first time. Whew!”
Within minutes, many fans flocked to the comment section, and they thought her post was an announcement for a new song or album. But fans were disappointed to see that it was a book review. A fan asked her that when the album would be released. The fan wrote:
“Adele where’s the album?”
The Grammy award-winning star replied to the fans. However, she did not give the answer fans had hoped for, leaving everything unclear about when the album will be released. Adele responded to:
“I honestly have no idea.”
Adele has been quiet since releasing her album 25 in 2015. She announced in early 2020 that she would be releasing a new album this year. Adele’s manager, Jonathan Dickins, spoke to Music Week and said the following:
“The sooner [it comes out] the better.”
