Alex Winter On The Possible Bill & Ted 4 As He Says ‘We Like Working Together’ To Keanu Reeves

Actor Alex Winter, who reunited with Keanu Reeves years later in Bill & Ted Face The Music, expressed his feelings about the possibility of a 4th Bill & Ted movie.

Following Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves were reunited in a 3rd film which people really loved. The success of the film created the chance of shooting another sequel and Alex Winter revealed his view in an interview.

Bill & Ted Face The Music was about the new adventure of Bill and Ted, who were inseparable duos. This time their mission was to save the planet and create a song for it.

Last month, the co-writer Ed Solomon had stated that the film was made with a very tight budget and there were scenes that were never filmed because of that. Therefore, if the movie had more budget it could have been a totally different movie.

These situations made the viewers think if the film could have a high budget next time, then it will receive more appreciation even more than the 3rd movie. Alex Winter said that although he is positive to work again with Keanu Reeves, no such offer has yet been made.

Furthermore, Alex Winter stated that they chose to do a 3rd film because the story was both hilarious and emotional. Stating that they would never think of acting in a third movie years later, if they hadn’t had a story that gave these two emotions together, the actor explained that there was no need for a fourth movie.

The 55-year-old actor admitted that although he said there were no such plans in the near future, he would enjoy making another one. The actor, who thinks it is difficult to say no to a job that delights both the audience and Keanu and himself, has left an open door for the 4th Bill & Ted movie.

Here’s what he stated on the subject:

” We made this film because Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon came to Keanu [Reeves] and myself with an idea that we thought was genuinely both hilarious and emotional, which is not easy.

We would never have done it, if it didn’t do both of those things because frankly there would have been no way to play the characters, if it didn’t do both of those things. We like working together. We don’t need to do another one.

We don’t particularly feel there needs to be another one, but we would enjoy making another one. That’s really the honest answer. There’s nothing more to it. We are not currently planning another one. Certainly, no one has come to us and asked us to do another one.

I don’t know where those chips are gonna fall. I can tell you that, if there was interest in making another one, and Keanu and I had the ability to come in and do something that would be as satisfying as what we just did, sure. We would both be interested in doing that.”
