The 2020 American Music Awards were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 22, and 2020’s most popular artists and albums were awarded.
One of the highly anticipated awards was ‘Favorite Male Rap/Hip-Hop Artist.’ Roddy Ricch, one of the nominees for this award, probably had the biggest year in these three years. It earned a nomination, had multiple hits, and released ‘Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial’, which is their number one debut album. Another candidate, DaBaby, also had a pretty strong year, and his top song ‘Rockstar’ (featuring Ricch) was a bigger hit than most of the other songs.
