Bebe Rexha Thinks Female Artists Should Support Each Other Although Stays In Her Own Lane

Singer and songwriter Bleta Rexha, known professionally as Bebe Rexha, has posted several tweets about the female musician on her Twitter page and revealed her opinions about it.

Bebe Rexha jumped on Twitter on Tuesday and said women should get together to celebrate and support each other. She said, however, that some artists were not willing to do so and therefore continued in her own line.

The singer responded to a fan who criticized her, saying that it was her thoughts. She cited examples of female rappers and said that they do not support each other compared to male rappers. She continued she listened to both Cardi B and Nicki Minaj and supported them both.

Finally, she confessed that she had always lived her life comparing herself to other women and said that she still does so. But she said she acknowledged this feeling and was able to keep herself under control. She said she was focused entirely on being herself.

Here’s what Bebe Rexha said:

“Sometimes I wish women could just come together. To celebrate each other. We say we do. But some of us really fuckin don’t. So I keep my head down and stay in my own lane.

Here is my opinion. I see two successful WOMEN rappers. I have yet to see two male rappers be pitted against each other for being men. That’s where we are fuckin up as a society. I have both Nicki and Cardi on my playlist. I support both.

Honestly, I used to live my life always comparing myself to other females. I still do. I’m still competitive. I still get jealous. But I accept the feeling, put myself in check and wish them the best, and then put the focus on being the best me.”
