Big Sean Explains Why He Doesn’t Get J. Cole On His ‘Detroit 2’ Album

Rapper Big Sean decided to answer the questions of his fans on his verified Twitter page after the release of his new album titled ‘Detroit 2’ on September 4.

Big Sean announced Detroit 2 in March. Recently, the album was released on all streaming services. The rapper has worked with names like Lil Wayne, Eminem, Travis Scott, and Post Malone. However, the fans have a question mark in their heads.

A Twitter user nicknamed Shaq asked Big Sean if there was anyone he wanted to get on the album but couldn’t. The fan wrote:

“Is there anybody you wanted to get on this album but couldn’t?”

The 32-year-old rapper responded to the fan and named J. Cole, who is the rapper of Roc Nation from North Carolina. In his tweet, he was working on some songs with J. Cole but they never finished it. Nevertheless, Big Sean showed his love for the rapper in the tweet.

Here’s what Big Sean said:

“Me and J Cole were working on something but it didn’t get finished. That’s my bro tho for sure.”

In another tweet, he revealed he worked with all the artists he respected and loved. He wrote:

“I’ve worked with almost every artist I respect and admire! So many dream collars happened for me, so grateful for that. At least every artist I ever looked up to that’s still alive.”
