Billie Eilish Opens Up About How She Feels On Making A New Album During Lockdown

One of the famous singers, Billie Eilish, has proven herself as the first woman and youngest singer to win the four biggest awards at the Grammy Awards, and every song she makes becomes a big hit.

Billie Eilish explained how bad this year was for everyone and even though she had to give up the “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?Tour she planned for this year, there would have been no time to prepare her new album if there was no quarantine.

In short, all these difficult times caused Eilish to produce a new album and one of the new songs that emerged was ‘Therefore I Am.

Here’s what she said:

“That’s what we’ve been talking about for months about how this year has sucked for a lot of people, and as much as I wished that I had been able to have the year I was planning on having and tour and blah, blah, blah, we would never have made this album.”

Billie Eilish also pointed out that if she hadn’t gone through this process in quarantine, maybe she would have created a completely different album. However, as a result of this unique period, a completely different album came out, as she entered a different mindset.

Hopeful for the future, the singer is very excited to share her new album and songs with her fans, so she sees this period as both a blessing and a curse because she thinks it is a means of good things as well as bad things.

Here’s what she stated:

“I mean, we would have made something, but it would have been completely different. It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine, we’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise. And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect. It’s like if you hadn’t done this three years ago, maybe you wouldn’t be doing this three years later. It’s just the way that it is.

At the same time, this is the most time off I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since this all started like five years ago. So it’s been a blessing, huge blessing and a curse, but I’m really, really happy that we’ve been able to make the things that we’re making. And I can’t wait for you to hear this sh-t. I can’t wait to have the world hear. I’m very excited and hopeful for the future.
