Actress Lupita Nyong’ o, who portrayed Nakia in Black Panther, has revealed what she missed most on late Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman on Ellen Show.
2020 is a very challenging and difficult year for all of us. In addition to the coronavirus affecting the whole world, unexpected deaths deeply upset everyone. The deaths of Kobe Bryant, Naya Rivera, Sean Connery, David Prowse, Diego Maradona, Eddie Van Halen, and more have been painful experiences for everyone. 2020 is passed but the sadness it gives has been continued.
Shooting for the movie Black Panther 2, which will be directed by Ryan Coogler, has been continuing, describing what Lupita would miss the most about Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman, she once again demonstrated how humble he was.
In a recent appearance on Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lupita responded to a question after Ellen asked her what is she going to miss most. In her response, the 38-year-old actress mentioned the behavior of Chadwick when he came to set.
Here’s what she stated:
“Wow. It’s still hard for me to come to terms with his passing. I mean, his leadership, you know. He led the movie with such compassion and just presence.”
She also believed that director Ryan Coogler would honor Chadwick Boseman in th best possible way for his legacy. She continued:
“When Chadwick came on set, he was present and he brought his entire being to that movie. And he was just so hımble as well, you know. but I do know for certain that he would want us to do this. And I feel that what Ryan Coogler has planned very much honors him and his legacy.”
