Borat 2 Star Sacha Baron Cohen Urges Social Media CEOs To Ban Donald Trump From Their Platforms

Borat 2 actor Sacha Baron Cohen updated his Twitter timeline and urges the CEOs of Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Google to ban President Donald Trump from their platforms after Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol.

On Wednesday, Trump supporters staged a riot against the US Capitol in Washington DC to protest the election results. This riot came after Trump asked his supporters on social media to protest the election results.

But these protests later turned violent, and protestors broke into the Capitol Building. The police were incapable of neutralizing the protestors. However, the crowd dispersed as the National Guards intervened. This incident was one of the worst security breaches in United States history.

One subject of discussion was the tweets posted by Donald Trump. It has been claimed that Trump has encouraged people through social media accounts, and it has been suggested that his social media accounts should be banned entirely. Sacha Baron Cohen was one of those who made this suggestion.

The 49-year-old actor took to Twitter to call the CEOs of huge social media platforms. In his tweet, he urged Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Youtube CEO Susan Wojcicki, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai to ban Donald Trump from their social media platforms for provoking this violent attack.

Here’s what Sacha Baron Cohen said:

“Hey Mark Zuckerberg, @jack, @SusanWojcicki, and @sundarpichai — Donald Trump just incited a violent attack on American democracy.

Is that FINALLY enough for you to act?!

It’s time to ban Donald Trump from your platforms once and for all!”

As a result of these actions, Donald Trump’s Twitter account for 12 hours, Facebook account for 24 hours, and Instagram account for 24 hours were suspended. He will not be able to share anything during these hours.
