Brazilian drag artist Pabllo Vittar was totally ready for her first English-language song “Flash Pose”. The first single off her upcoming album 111, “Flash Pose” is a club anthem featuring Charli XCX.
In a recent interview with Billboard, Brazilian megastar and drag queen Pabllo Vittar has shared her thoughts about the first English-language song and collaborated with British singer Charli XCX. She said she was excited about her first song, written in English.
“I can’t describe the feeling — I am super excited! This is my first song in English and I have my friend Charli with me. I couldn’t be happier right now.”
She also mentioned about her and Charlie collaborating. She said:
“We’ve been talking about it for over a year now. The song was written by Aluna from AlunaGeorge almost two years ago, and we shot the video in April…finally! I think it was hard to find a way to have my signature sound in it. I have two albums out already, but they sound a lot different from this track. In the end we did it. It’s a dance track with Pabllo’s touch.”
Pabllo Vittar also added that on the question of whether you will make more songs in English.
“Yes! There will be songs in English, Spanish, and Portuguese! A lot of different references, from Brazilian sounds to Columbian dance music. A lot of different things that I listen to and love.”
