Iconic hip-hop star Busta Rhymes’ daughter, Cacie Smith, shared a new photo that shows her gorgeous appearance on her Instagram account and penned down a meaningful letter about being a black woman.
Following George Floyd’s death and birthday tribute of Breonna Taylor, Cacie uploaded a photo of herself on Instagram and tagged some of her black friends on the photo to make this movement spread.
In the caption of her post, she said that she called out the black woman to raise their voice for an equal right to life between white and black people. She also urged her followers to join this social media movement by sharing their photos on their social media accounts.
Here’s the caption:
“We are BLACK WOMEN 👸🏽👸🏿👸🏾… We build… We don’t tear down other BLACK WOMEN…. for many years we have felt the pain of not being seen for undeniably beautiful skin, instead, we are looked down upon.
But right now at this moment, we will acknowledge each other! We will uplift each other today! We can portray the Black women in the media and what that effect has had on our beautiful Black girls.
The fighting, the screaming, and the judging have run its course. We are beautifully the same. Upload 1 picture of yourself and tag as many beautiful Black Queens as you would like 👑! Please Let’s Keep This Challenge Going ✊🏽✊🏿✊🏾!”
