Caitlyn Jenner Responds To Rumors That She Opposes Same Sex Marriage

The former Olympic medalist decathlete Caitlyn Jenner recently announced her nomination for California governor in a recall election to replace Governor Gavin Newsom, made a statement to Twitter to respond to some fake rumors about her words.

A TMZ reporter caught Caitlyn Jenner in a mall parking lot this weekend and she shared her thoughts on a question that is banning trans athletes.

As you know, more than 34 states are discussing laws to prohibit trans athletes from competing on the basis of their gender identity. At least 5 states have enacted this law. Former decathlete and transgender Caitlyn Jenner’s recent comment sparked this issue a lot.

Jenner told TMZ that it was a matter of justice, so she opposed trans biological boys competing in girls’ sports at school. Jenner thought it was unfair and said they should protect girls’ sports in school.

Here’s what she said:

“This is a question of fairness. That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair. And we have to protect girls’ sports in our school.”

Jenner also shared her thoughts on this short interview on Twitter on May 1:

“I didn’t expect to get asked this on my Saturday morning coffee run, but I’m clear about where I stand. It’s an issue of fairness and we need to protect girls ’sports in our schools.”

However, Caitlyn Jenner had to respond to some false allegations. She shut down a Twitter user who said she didn’t support same sex marriage. But, Caitlyn said she refused these rumors about her. She said such allegations were made by her political rivals, and pointed to her 2017 interview with Diane Sawyer.

Here’s what Caitlyn Jenner stated:

“My political opponents are so scared of my candidacy they are now resorting to flat out lying about me. I said back in 2017 with Diane Sawyer, I am 100 percent behind gay marriage.”
