Bronx rapper Cardi B warned her fans against the assault of Trump supporters to the US Capitol in Washington DC by sharing a recent tweet on her verified Twitter account.
On Wednesday, the US Capitol building was attacked by some Trump supporters who did not recognize the results of the November 3 election. At the time of the attack, Vice President Mike Pence and senators were meeting in the building, and election appeal processes were discussed. However, after the attack of Trump supporters, the session was suspended and the protest ended with the help of the National Guard.
Despite Donald Trump urging supporters to return home, their social media accounts have been suspended for alleged incitement. The elected president Joe Biden described the incident as an attack.
Many famous names reacted to this attack. One of them was Cardi B. Cardi posted a tweet questioning why the US National Guard intervened late. She later warned her fans about this occupy.
In the tweet, the 28-year-old rapper told her fans not to go out during the protests. The rapper called Trump supporters the wild thugs and advised people to stay home safe.
Here’s what Cardi B said:
“And y’all better NOT BE OUTSIDE!! These are wild thugs out here! Stay home. This ain’t our business. Stay at home safely but dangerous!”
