Cardi B Stuns Fans With Her Expert-Level Knowledge For Ottoman History
Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B is continuing to talk about Turkish television series, Magnificent Century, show her admiration and knowledge base for Ottoman history.
Magnificent Century is historical fiction based on the life of the Ottoman Empire Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent, the longest-reigning Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, and his wife Hurrem Sultan.
About a week ago, her fans noticed that Cardi is a die-hard follower of this TV series, and she had started chatting with her fans on it via social media, especially Twitter.
Today, the 27-year-old rapper took to Twitter and she said that she hates one of the characters in series named Nurbanu, who was one of the most prominent figures during the time of the Sultanate of Women in the Ottoman. Also, Hürrem Sultan is the mother-in-law of Nurbanu. She wrote:
“I hate Nurbanu.”
A fan nicknamed afterhoursstan stopped in the comment section to show some love and respect for Nurbanu Sultan:
“NURBANU MY QUEEN is the most powerful figure in Ottoman history.”
Cardi opposed this idea of her fan and said that Hürrem Sultan was the powerful person in the Ottoman Empire. Thus, Cardi B showed expert-level knowledge for Ottoman history. She wrote:
“Sorry, hunny HÜRREM IS THAT!”
