Chance The Rapper Names Favorite Chicago Rapper, And It’s Not Kanye West

In a new post on Twitter, Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Chance The Rapper reveals his favorite rapper who is from Chicago, and it’s not his fellow Kanye West.

Chicago is the heaven of hip-hop artists, and many famous names were raised in this city from the past to the present, including Kanye West, Chance The Rapper, Lupe Fiasco, Da Brat, Lil Durk, Juice WRLD, and many more.

However, there is only one name on the 27-year-old rapper’s mind, and Chance took to his verified Twitter account to reveal his favorite rapper who comes from Chicago.

The rapper tweeted briefly, saying that his favorite rapper is Fya Man, and surprised his fans by not saying Kanye West’s name because West and Chance have a close friendship.

Here’s what Chance wrote:

“My favorite Chicago rapper Fya Man.”

In his other tweet:

“And been that way for a while.”

Fya Man is a local rapper, and Chance is undoubtedly trying to show his support by giving his name. But some fans tried to figure out why he didn’t give Kanye’s name, although they have a good friendship. Moreover, in the past, Chance said Ye is the most supportive person in his life and also supported West’s run for president.

During a recent appearance with Queen Radio with Nicki Minaj, Chance The Rapper has revealed the details of the friendship with hip-hop icon Kanye West. He said:

“It’s amazing. He’s one of the most supportive people in my life. I went and spent some time with him a couple of weeks before the album dropped, and he just gave me some ideas and talked to me, but it’s like, like what we did, in a lot of our conversations, we’ve spent a lot of time on the phone in the past two days.

That’s fellowship, and it’s like, strengthening each other and reminding each other that it’s not as few people as you would think that use God as their strength. That’s what we do.”

He continued:

“We talk, and we explain to each other…he lets me talk really freely about what I like or what I dislike or what I think is we could do better. And he does the same thing in my life. Yeah, man, it’s just like, imagine having an amazing friend that’s loyal and supports you and wants to see you do great…and then that person being Kanye West.”
