Chance the Rapper Urges Fans To Pray For His Close Friend Jeremih After Hearing His Deadly Illness

Chicago rapper Chance the Rapper updated his Twitter timeline and urges his followers to pray his close friend and R&B singer, Jeremih, after he found out he struggled with COVID-19.

Sources with direct information say Jeremih was being treated in a hospital for COVID-19. It is unclear how long he was kept in the hospital or how long ago he was infected, but the R&B singer is fighting for his life.

Information about the R&B singer started leaking on social media after rapper 50 Cent and producer Hitmaka Jeremih asked fans to pray for the singer. However, one of his close friends, Chance the Rapper, took to his Twitter account and urged fans to pray for Jeremih.

Here’s what he wrote:

“Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih, he is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him”

As you might remember Chance the Rapper collaborated with Jeremih on a 2014 song and shared a surprise mixtape titled ‘Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama‘ with him two years later.

Jeremih Felton, known as the stage name Jeremih, was born in Chicago, Illinois. In 2009, he signed a contract with the Def Jam Recordings record label. Her first single, ‘Birthday Sex,’ released that year, reached number four on the American Billboard Hot 100 chart.
