Charlize Theron Says Tom Hanks Will Forever Be Her Hero As She Shares Rare Frames Of Them

South Africa-born actress Charlize Theron doesn’t hesitate her admiration for iconic Hollywood actor Tom Hanks.

Theron shared some throwback photos of herself with Hanks thursday on her Instagram page and celebrated his 64th birthday with a lovely message.

The 44-year-old actress says Tom will always be her hero while she offers the amazing frames. She also added a heart emoji to show her love and respect for the respected actor. She wrote:

“You will forever be my hero. Happy birthday Tom Hanks❤️”

Actor and Tom Hanks’ eldest son, Colin Hanks stopped in the comment section to share his thought on the pictures that Theron uploaded. He commented:

“These pictures really captured his essence, if I do say so myself.”

The friendships of Charlize Theron and Tom Hanks started years ago and still continue. The duo had a role in the comedy musical ‘That Thing You Do!,’ which was released in 1996.

Early in January of 2020, during a conversation with ‘Entertainment Tonight’ at Golden Globe 2020,  Theron had previously mentioned Tom Hanks as her hero. She said:

“I’m really nervous because sitting with Tom Hanks tonight and I have to give him this ‘Cecil B. deMille Award’ and if you followed anything that I’ve said in the last 25 years you will understand how unbelievably nerve-wracking that is for me tonight. Because he’s my hero.”
