Chrissy Teigen Explains Why Winning Grammy’s ‘Record Of The Year’ Sucks

Model and the wife of singer John Legend, Chrissy Teigen has explained why winning Grammy’s ‘Record of the Year’ sucks on her Twitter account.

The 63rd annual Grammy Awards ceremony took place in Los Angeles on Sunday evening. Taylor Swift and Beyonce were the most talked about names with the records they broke.

Billie Eilish won the biggest prize of the night. Eilish won the Record of the Year award for the song ‘Everything I Wanted.’ The 19-year-old singer won this award in 2020 with her song ‘Bad Guy.’

Criticism came after Eilish won this award. People have been saying Eilish didn’t deserve to win this award. However, Chrissy Teigen supported Billie Eilish and took to Twitter and explained why winning Record of the Year sucks.

The 35-year-old model says to win the record of the year sucks because everyone tells the winner doesn’t deserve this award. For this reason, the winner cannot enjoy the prize.

As you may remember, Teigen’s husband John Legend won the Record of the Year award in 2014 with the song ‘All of Me,’ and the same criticism was made for her husband.

Here’s what Chrissy Teigen wrote:

“Winning record of the year sucks because you can’t enjoy it when everyone’s telling you why you don’t deserve it. it’s just shit. people suck. and it’s not the record of the year winner.”
