DaBaby Reveals Why He Doesn’t Get Snubbed After Losing The 2020 Grammy Awards

North Caroline rapper DaBaby expressed his opinions about not winning any prize at the Grammy Awards earlier this year and explained how he felt after failing to win.
DaBaby’s song ‘Rockstar,‘ in which collaborated with Roddy Ricch, is nominated for the ‘Record of the Year and Best Rap Song’ for the 2021 Grammys. Earlier this year, he was also nominated for his single ‘Suge’ for Best Rap Performance, but he didn’t win it.
At the 2020 Grammy awards, Nipsey Hussle featured Roddy Ricch and Hit-boy’s song ‘Racks In The Middle’ won for Best Rap Performance. Other nominees were J. Cole’s Middle Child, DaBaby’s Suge, Dreamville’s Down Bad, Offset, and Cardi B’s Clout.
During a recent interview with ‘Rolling Stone,’ when asked if ‘Suge’ didn’t win last year was bothering him, DaBaby said it didn’t bother him because Nipsey won.
Here’s what he said:
“Absolutely not, I can’t say I got snubbed. Nipsey won.”
He also answered the question about the success of the Rockstar, saying that he is already confident that this song will be successful. He stated:
“Not even lying: The second I made the song, I knew. I probably have that on camera — me saying what this song was going to be the second I made it.”
