Director David Ayer responded to a fan recommending Ayer Cut and James Gunn’s Suicide Squad not to be release on similar dates on Twitter.
As we all know, when the movie Suicide Squad was released in 2016, it received many positive and negative reviews. The reason for this is that Warner Bros cut some scenes of the movie and made changes to the movie.
The main reason Warner Bros did this was that they thought Ayer’s version was depressing. Finally, David Ayer announced that the movie exists and will be released.
In addition, James Gunn’s Suicide Squad movie is planned to be released in the summer of 2021.
A Twitter fan suggested that Ayer Cut of Suicide Squad and James Gunn’s Suicide Squat not be release on similar dates and said it wouldn’t make sense.
David Ayer took to Twitter and responded to the fan and said that it would be horrific brand management to do that. He continued and stated no one thinks like that.
Here’s what David Ayer said:
“That would be horrific brand management to do that. No one has suggested that. Let James crush it.”
