Diddy Supports England Players After They Suffering Racist Abuse After Euro 2020 Penalty Shootout Loss

England and Italy faced each other at the Wembley Stadium in London for the EURO 2020 final, and in the match, which finished 1-1 in the regular time, Italy won the championship by giving England a 3-2 advantage on penalties.

Italy has triumphed at the European Championship after 53 years. The most recent success was Azzurri(Blues) EURO 1968, at the tournament held at home. Italy, the champion for the second time in the 4th final of the tournament, lost to France in 200o and Spain in 2021.

However, at the fateful moment of the match, while the regular time was tied 1-1, England coach Gareth Southgate changed tactics for penalty shootouts in the 119th minute and in England, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho were included in the game in the last minutes of the match, taking into account the penalty shootout.

After Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho missed penalties, Bukayo Saka could not pass Gianluigi Donnarumma, and the trophy went to Italy. After missing penalties, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka could not hold back their tears.

However, some English fans were not happy with this situation and they used racist hate on the players who missed the penalty, especially 19-year-old Saka, on social media.

After racist attacks by some British fans, music producer and rapper, Diddy, took to Instagram to show his support for England players. In addition to racist abuse of England players, many football fans and supporters sent messages to support England players.

Here’s the caption:

“We stand with you Kings. Proud of all your efforts on and off the field and we will always support you. Continue to inspire. Love

And to the racists… F*CK YOU!”
