The New York Times produced the documentary titled ‘Framing Britney Spears.’ The documentary aimed to increase awareness and understanding of women, agency, and trauma based on Britney’s life.
Following the documentary, the ‘Free Britney’ movement went viral on social media. As you recall in 2007 was a struggle year for the iconic popstar. Upon Britney’s mental breakdown, she was put under a conservatorship helmed by her father, Jamie Spears.
