Dwayne Johnson Confirms Emily Blunt’s Hilarious Meeting Stories: ‘She’s Ghosting Me’

Former WWE wrestler and actor, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has confirmed Emily Blunt’s hilarious meeting story for the first time and revealed how she was ghosting him.
Jungle Cruise set was full of laughter. Emily Blunt had everyone burst into laughter with the story she told about Dwayne Johnson, the lead actor, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
The Jungle Cruise movie is based on the Disneyland ride of the same name. Johnson plays a boat captain named Frank, who takes Blunt’s character Lily and her brother McGregor on a mission to find a tree with magical healing powers.
The 38-year-old British actress told The Late Show how she met 49-year-old Dwayne before filming the Disney movie. Emily said she met Dwayne after she called for a dinner with the producers, probably ‘to see if I was okay.’
Here’s what Emily Blunt said:
“I know the ground rules. Keep your trap shut, keep it discreet and just blend in as much as you can. He walks in and I heard myself just go, Heyyy!”
Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter and confirmed the story of Emily Blunt. Johnson said that she quickly found out that he was quite shy in public places.
Dwayne Johnson tweeted:
“Very true and funny story. At our first dinner (and first time ever meeting), I walked in and Emily shouted “Heyyyyyy.” She quickly found out that I’m (in her words) quite shy in public places. We had a great dinner and she’s regretted doing #JungleCruise every since.”
