Dwayne Johnson Reveals What He Thinks About His Rare Miami Football Card Which Sold At Auction

Former WWE wrestler, fitness trainer, and actor, Dwayne Johnson recently reacted to his rare Miami football card sold at auction by sharing a tweet on his verified Twitter account.

Before Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson became one of the most influential figures in the sports and entertainment world, he played for the Miami University football team. Johnson played defensive tackle for Miami, was part of the national championship team in 1991.

During the 1994 season, Bumble Bee tuna company produced a set of cards that included many of Miami’s footballers, including Johnson, Ray Lewis, and Warren Sapp. At an auction Wednesday night, Johnson’s extremely rare card was sold by PWCC Auctions for $ 13,988.

The 48-year-old actor made a statement on Twitter after seeing this news. After joking with his former teammates at the University of Miami, Johnson said his former teammates were used to his wild and crazy eyes. The famous actor seemed quite satisfied after seeing this news.

Here’s what he wrote:

“My teammates used to f*ck with me about my eyes getting wild and crazy when on the field. Keep your pad level low boys and get some.”

Although Johnson hasn’t confirmed it yet, many fans thought he bought this card. Others, remembering old memories, glanced at his footballing period.

A Twitter user hoped the actor bought this card and commented:

“I hope u bought this card.”

Another fan wrote:

“That’s not The Rock. That was Dewey back then.”
