Dwayne Johnson Says ‘This Is Very Special To Me’ After Receiving Honor From Hollywood Critics Association

In a recent post on Instagram, former WWE wrestler and actor Dwayne Johnson shared what he thinks about Hollywood Critics Association will honor him for his huge success over the years.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be honored by the Hollywood Critics Association at the fourth annual HCA Film Awards on March 5th. Johnson will receive the HCA Trailblazer Award.

Johnson and his business partner Dany Garcia supported projects such as Jungle Cruise, Hobbs & Shaw, and The Titan Games through Seven Bucks Productions. He also produced Young Rock, which started airing on NBC.

In addition to Hollywood productions, Johnson made significant donations during the pandemic and tried to help everyone struggling with the pandemic. In addition, he used his wide social platform in important social events and raised his voice against social injustice.

The 48-year-old actor took to Instagram and shared thoughts about this award. In the note, he said that the award is special to him and deeply honored and even more grateful to receive this high honor from the HCA.

Here’s the caption:

“#TrailblazerAward. This one is very special to me and I’m deeply honored and even more so – deeply grateful to receive this high honor from the @hollywoodcriticsassociation.

Over the course of one’s career, you hope to make a little impact in your business – do some good for people and hopefully add a little value to their lives, with what you’re lucky and blessed enough to have.

I’m really honored and quite moved by this recognition by this particular cadre of friends, that I’ve had the privilege of knowing and growing with over all these years.

Grateful.”
