The wife of the former Miami Heat basketball player Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, updated her Instagram feed to mourn the death of Breonna Taylor who was murdered by the police officers.
If Breonna Taylor were alive she would have been 27 years old. But she was killed by a group of police officers on March 13, 2020, when the cops enter her home for drug possession crime.
Today, Gabrielle shared a photo of Breonna Taylor on her Instagram page. She indited an emotional letter about her story and paid her tribute for Breonna Taylor.
Here’s what Gabrielle wrote:
“Breonna Taylor should be celebrating her 27th birthday today but she was murdered as she slept by police. She worked tirelessly to help people as an EMT. A job she loved.
She should be here celebrating her big day with her family and friends. No one has been arrested. The people responsible walk free. #SayHerName Know her story. She should be here. So many Black women have met the same fate.
We must not forget Black women when we are fighting.”
The 47-year-old actress saddened fans by writing touching birthday tribute and many followers stopped in the comment section to share their thoughts.
