Ellen DeGeneres Reveals How COVID-19 Negatively Affected Her Favorite Halloween Tradition

Ellen DeGeneres, the host of the much-loved daytime show called The Ellen Show, had to make major changes in the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride tradition she organized for Halloween this year due to COVID-19.

COVID-19, popularly known as the coronavirus, hit the whole world in early 2020 and millions of people were negatively affected by this virus.

Among the negative effects of the virus, apart from health, is the cancellation or postponement of many organizations, sports competitions, concerts, and shows. One of them is the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, which is Ellen’s favorite Halloween tradition.

There is no haunted house due to the pandemic this year but the good news is there are haunted drive-thrus. In this year’s Haunted Hayride, Ellen’s Executive Producer Andy tries not to be afraid while sitting in his car in Los Angeles Haunted Hayride. Ellen describes these fun moments as her favorite show.

Here’s what she captioned:

“My favorite #Halloween tradition. 2020 edition”
