Fans are eager to see Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar again in Starz’s Power, starring 50 Cent as executive producer and actor. Because of this, many fans pressured 50 Cent to bring Kenrick Lamar back to the show.
In 2018, Kendrick Lamar made a guest appearance on the television show Power, which stars and is executive produced by 50 Cent. In the episode, the rapper played a homeless man named Laces who tries to sell 50 Cent some gift cards outside of a bodega. Then 50 Cent was pulling a gun on him. You can watch the scene here.
50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar have been friends for a very long time. On Thursday, 50 Cent shared a photo from the TV drama Power to celebrate Kendrick Lamar’s 34th birthday, completing his birthday post with a throwback image.
Here’s what 50 Cent wrote:
“Happy Birthday to my boy @kendricklamar God bless wishing you many more. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #bottlerover”
While there are some problems between Starz and 50 Cent, the third part of the series, ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’, will be released on June 18 and will feature Mekai Curtis, Malcolm Mays, and Patina Miller. However, fans flocked to 50 Cent’s post celebrating the Compton rapper’s birthday and expressed their desire to see Kendrick Lamar on the show again.
