Former Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie Duhamel, professionally known by her stage name Fergie, has updated her Instagram feed and celebrated the 70th birthday of her mother, Theresa Ann Ferguson.
On Monday, Fergie celebrated her mother’s 70th birthday by unearthing a rare photo of her mother from her younghood and wished her mom a happy birthday.
Here’s what Fergie wrote:
“Happy 70th Birthday Mom. You are my queen. I love you all the ways. You know.”
A fan commented:

Fergie took a break from her career for a while when she gave birth to her son Axl in 2013 and left Black Eyed Peas. There’s also no doubt that Fergie’s mom was also quite excited that she was a grandmother.
In 2020 Summer, Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am, Taboo, and Apl.de.ap spoke in a recent interview with Billboard, Will.i.am explained the real reason why Fergie left the music group. The 45-year-old singer said that she left BEP to focus on her motherhood issues and spent time with her son, Axl.
Here’s what Will.i.am stated:
“That’s a hard job, and that’s what she really wants to do and we’re here for her, and she knows how to contact us for a retreat or a breakaway.”
