Former Bond Girl Olga Kurylenko Responds To Disgusting Comments On Her Nationality

Actress Olga Kurylenko, who is known for her role as Camille Montes in one of the James Bond movies called Quantum of Solace, broke her silence about the racist comments over her nationality, responding to the internet haters by sharing a lengthy statement, on Instagram Stories.

Olga was born in Ukraine as the child of a Belarusian father and a Russian mother. At the time of her birth, the Soviet Union was still not destroyed, and Ukraine was a Soviet-bound region. However, she spent most of her life in France, and she is sometimes described as a French actress. Now, she is living in the UK.

Olga jumped on social media to respond to all this confusion and disgusting comments sent to her and made a bold statement to stop all these comments.

In the statement, Olga said that she knew her nationality, respected it, and would never forget it, but stated that the most matter is a person’s values. She wrote:

“Guys stop fighting over my nationality. It’s not important. I was born in Ukraine! But actually it was USSR at that time. My mother is Russian and father Belarusian.

I have lived in France for most of my life and I’m a French citizen. But I now reside in the UK. I travel. I never forgot my place of birth – Berdiansk, Ukraine. I remember and respect everyone. We are all mixed. It doesn’t matter what blood or ethnicity is in a person. What matters most is the person’s values.”

On the other hand, the 40-year-old actress also reacted to the comments about her aging, saying that she had no problems with it and thought that aging is natural. She continued:

“Also, your comments about me looking different? Lol Life goes on! And every year I get older. That’s what it is and it’s nature. And I accept it. Because that the circle of life. And guess what? You are all getting there if you aren’t already there. We all are. No one can escape it. And if you think you will hurt me by saying I got older you are so lost because I totally accept it and have absolutely no problem with it.

I never wanted to be the most beautiful or pretended to be that. I frankly don’t care! 🙂 I’m confident enough to be who I am and I don’t need to be anyone else or more. “
