Game of Thrones author George RR Martin announced that he is moving ahead with his upcoming book titled ‘Winds of Winter.’
Georg RR Martin was planned to publish the long-awaited book on July 29th, but the date was postponed to next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Also, the most curious thing about the book, which doesn’t have a release date, is how the author will end his book. As we all know, Martin’s book sets a different ending from the Game of Thrones series.
The 71-year-old author announced today he’s back by sharing a new post on his verified Twitter page. He showed that he would focus on his upcoming book.
Here’s what George RR Martin wrote:
“I am back in my fortress of solitude again. I’d returned home to Santa Fe for a short visit to spend some time with Parris. But I am back on the mountain again. Which means I’m back in Westeros again, once more moving ahead with WINDS OF WINTER.”
The Winds of Winter is the planned sixth novel in the epic fantasy series A Song of Ice and Fire by American writer George R. R. Martin. Martin believes the last two volumes of the series will total over 3k manuscript pages.
