George RR Martin Says ‘Joe Biden Is A Decent Human Being, And Donald Trump Is Not’

The writer of the epic fantasy novels ‘A Song of Ice and Fire,’ which was adapted into the HBO series Game of Thrones, George RR Martin, made a recent statement about the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden and revealed what he thought about it.

It is not the number of people who think that The 2020 Presidential Debate is probably the worst in American history. Donald Trump’s aggressive attitude, dialogue with Democratic candidate Joe Biden and the moderator, was heavily criticized. One of them was George RR Martin.

The 72-year-old author took to Twitter to announce his statement showing his opinions about the presidential debate. He blasted the behavior of Donald Trump and his disrespectful words. Martin also revealed the vast differences between the past presidential debates and the latest one by comparing them on his website blog.

Here’s what he said:

“I have never seen anything like what I witnessed last night.

It was appalling. Offensive. Disgusting. Donald Trump was bad four years ago in his debates with Hillary Clinton, but last night he set new records for being offensive, obnoxious, and rude. He ranted, he raved, he shouted, he interrupted again and again and again and AGAIN, refusing to let Joe Biden finish a sentence without breaking in.

He spoke over Biden, he spoke over the moderator, he ignored the questions, he ignored the rules — rules his own campaign had negotiated and agreed to — he told shocking lies, and doubled down when called on them, he engaged in smears and personal attacks, he tried to discredit the result of the vote before most of America has even voted.

This was not the behavior of a president. This was not the behavior of a presidential candidate.

This was the behavior of a schoolyard bully, an obnoxious child, the tinpot strongman of some third world dictatorship.”
