Gigi Hadid Visits Refugee Camp Of Unicef In Cox’s Bazar Bangladesh

American supermodel, Gigi Hadid has posted some important via her certified Instagram page. She has written a touching letter with the post.

Last year, she traveled to Bangladesh, visiting Rohingya Muslim refugees as part of a United Nations Children’s Fund Initiative.

Hadid visited Cox’s Bazar to see, first hand, the impact that UNICEF and supporting organizations have on the lives of the Rohingya refugees, the largest refugee camp in the world.

Here’s her letter:

“A year ago this week I was in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh to see, first hand, the impact that UNICEF and supporting organizations have on the lives of the Rohingya refugees, in the largest refugee camp in the world- almost One Million people, 500,000+ being children.

Just a reminder that this may be out of the media, but they are still there. They have just suffered one of the worst-ever monsoon seasons, which is devastating to non-permanent camps like this.

If you can give at this time or even spread awareness, I promise @unicefusa@unicefbangladesh will put it to good use, from education to sanitation to social work + so much more. Every penny truly helps. Link in my bio to learn more 💙.”
