Gisele Bündchen Recalls Her Serious Mental Health Problem In Her 20’s And Reveals Her Big Transformation

Today is World Mental Health Day, and Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen opened up to some of the mental health problems she experienced at her young ages. She also shared some of her special methods.

Gisele shared one of her photos showing she was sitting lakeside, watching the sunrise, and told fans her struggling experiences in her 20’s. In her statement, Gisele said that she struggled a lot with severe panic attacks when she was in her 20s. She continued she later went through that great transformation that would change her life by starting meditation.

Here’s what she said:

“After battling severe panic attacks in my early 20’s, I experienced a big transformation, one that changed my life forever. Meditation, breathwork and replacing unhealthy habits with healthier ones were some of the incredible tools that went along with this rebirth. I know now from experience that the biggest challenges we face are often our biggest opportunities for growth.

Yes, we can feel alone and overwhelmed when we’re in the thick of things, but nothing is permanent, and if we do the work we can come out on the other side stronger than ever. That is something I wish for everyone.”

On World Mental Health Day, the model shared some useful tools to help her fans and for anyone going through similar challenges. She said these tools helped her to overcome her panic attack. She continued:

“Today, on World Mental Health Day, I want to share some of the tools that helped me overcome my panic attacks, and gave new meaning to my life, in the hopes they might help anyone going through similar challenges.”

The model also added:

“The smallest changes we do today can have a direct impact on our days, weeks, months, and can make the biggest difference in our lives. Just remember always: be kind to yourself.”
