Halsey Explains How One Of Jim Carrey’s Movies Influenced Her Music Career

Singer and songwriter Halsey explained how one of Jim Carrey’s movies influenced her in her songs and albums in her latest post on her verified Twitter page.

The fantasy adventure movie ‘A Series Of Unfortunate Events,’ which was directed by Brad Silberling in 2004 and starring Jim Carrey, Jude Law, and Meryl Streep, seems to have been one of the turning points in Halsey’s music career.

Halsey said in her tweet that she will be sharing this information for the first time, saying that the reason she loves codes, anagrams, and secrets so much in her albums and the arts that surround her is because she is a fan of A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

Here’s what she said:

“I don’t know if I’ve ever said this but the reason I love codes and anagrams and secrets and connecting plots so much in my albums and the other art surrounding them is because I grew up on A Series Of Unfortunate Events. If you know, you know.”

A fan commented in response to her tweet:

“This feels exactly like the first time my favourite professor quoted Monty Python at us and I was like “ah yes this is why you’re the same breed of weird that I am”

Another fan wrote:

“Also because you’re the zodiac killer.”
