MTV Movie Award-winning actor Henry Cavill spoke in an interview with Patrick Stewart on a remotely filmed episode of Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ and talked about his recent role Superman, showing his passion for this character.
Cavill had played the character of Superman three-times on the following movies for ‘Man of Steel(2013),’ ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice(2016),’ and ‘Justice League(2017).’ The audience gave full points for the handsome actor’s performance.
While talking about his role and character, he said that he hopes to play Superman again in the future. The 37-year-old British actor admitted that he always a fan of Superman and the character is such a wonderful superhero by saying that it’s actually a responsibility he’s happy to have.
Here’s what Henry Cavill stated:
“I’ve always been a fan of Superman. With a character like that, you carry the mantle with you offset. And it becomes part of your public representation. When you meet children, children don’t necessarily see me as Henry Cavill, but they might see Superman, and there’s a responsibility that comes with that.”
“Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come.”
