Hugh Jackman Pays Tribute To His Father Christopher After He Has Died

Handsome and successful actor Hugh Jackman, known for his role as Wolverine, announced the death of his father Chris Jackman in a post on Twitter.

Hugh Jackman, who made an announcement on Twitter, announced that his father, Chris Jackman, passed away on the morning of September 5.

Writing an emotional note, Jackman shared a photo of his father, stating that he lost his father on ‘Australian Father’s Day,’ which is celebrated every September 5 in Australia.

Here’s the note:

“In the early hours of Father’s Day (AU), my Dad peacefully passed away. And whilst there is deep sadness, I’m filled with such gratitude and love. My Dad was, in a word, extraordinary. He devoted his life to his family, his work and his faith. I pray he’s now at peace with God.”

Chris Jackman, who died at the age of 84, raised his three sons, including Hugh, alone in Australia. Chris Jackman’s mother left him when he was very young and went to England.
