Respected actor Ian McKellen, who is known for his role as Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings movies, has revealed an unknown thing of actors in the films.
Illustrator and cover designer is known for his more than 150 movie posters, Drew Struzan, shared a new painting of one of The Lord of the Rings characters, Gandalf, and proved one more time how talented he is.
Famous for his paintings inspired by Shawshank Redemption, Blade Runner, Mallrats, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, and Star Wars film series, the famous artist shared a charcoal drawing by Gandalf on his Twitter page.
After Gandalf actor Ian McKellen noticed this painting, the 81-year-old actor took to Twitter and revealed an unknown thing of every actor in the iconic film.
In his tweet, McKellen revealed that every actor in the films was wearing a wig. Even his Gandalf character’s beard, nose, and eyebrows were also fake. But he said that the wrinkles and bags under his eyes belonged to him.

“Every actor in #LordOfTheRings wore a wig and/or a prosthetic. Here is my wig and false beard in their glory – false nose and eyebrows too. The wrinkles and bags under my eyes were my own.”
