Rapper, actor, and also filmmaker, O’Shea Jackson, better known by his stage name Ice Cube has updated his Instagram feed and penned down a touching letter following the death of his former co-star Tom ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr., who played Deebo in Friday.
Thomas ‘Tiny’ Lister Jr. was best known for his role as the neighborhood bully Deebo in the 1995 film Friday. His friends and close circle said they hadn’t heard from him since Wednesday. As a result of the police investigation, the actor was found dead in his home. The police stated that Lister has died of natural causes. He was 62 years old.
Ice Cube took to Instagram to pay his tribute to Thomas Lister by saying ‘R.I.P Deebo.’ The rapper also revealed the unknowns of his former co-star following his devastating death.
In his message, He said that even though he looked like a bully who terrified everyone on camera, there was a big smile and laughter behind him. Expressing that he was an entertainer by birth, Cube said he was a good man at heart.

“RIP Tiny “Deebo” Lister. America’s favorite bully was a born entertainer who would pop into character at the drop of a hat terrifying people on and off camera. Followed by a big smile and laugh. Thank you for being a good dude at heart. I miss you already.”
