Iggy Azalea Denies Claims Which She Is Liable In A Car Accident Lawsuit

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has updated her Instagram Stories with a new statement about her past car accident lawsuit and denied all speculations.

The 30-year-old rapper is facing legal problems from a skateboarder who was involved in an accident with her ex-boyfriend French Montana’s brother.

According to TMZ, Iggy Azalea’s Jeep Wrangler struck Jeffrey Linett while skateboarding in Los Angeles. He claimed that 18-year-old Ayoub was on his phone while driving.

However, Iggy made a statement and denied all claims. She wrote:

“I’m seeing my name on some gossip blogs today and I want to make it clear this is a false story. Please remove this inaccurate story from your pages if you’ve reported it, or at least report the story correctly.”

She continued:

“My name is mentioned in a lawsuit from 2016 because I was the vehicle owner of a car that was involved in an accident.

I was not on the scene & I have never had direct involvement in this suit as per the judges’ orders – I am not liable. The suit is solely with the insurance company & driver of the vehicle. l am not personally being asked to pay out any amount of money, have not been summoned to a single court date & genuinely don’t even get updates on the case as it’s the outcome is not relevant to me.

Respectfully, Please stop including me in this narrative.”
