Iggy Azalea Says She’ll Take A Break To Focus On ‘Creative Projects’

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea announced on her Twitter page that she’ll take a break from the music to focus on other ‘creative projects’ after her upcoming album, ‘End of an Era.’

In a few weeks, Iggy Azalea will be releasing her next album, End of an Era, and the rapper has announced a hiatus, which has somewhat upset her fans. She continues to develop her career after moving to Miami in 2006. Last year she and her ex-boyfriend Playboi Carti’s son said hello to Onyx, since then Iggy has been tackling her parenting and music career together.

On Thursday, Iggy made an announcement via Twitter, saying she will be taking a two-year hiatus from music after End of an Era. While it may upset her fans, Iggy said she will be taking a break to focus on other creative projects.

Here’s the tweet:

““End of an Era” is so special to me because after I drop my album next month iam going to take a few years to focus on other creative projects and things I’m feeling passionate and inspired by, beyond music. I’m excited for you guys to see different sides to me in the future.”

She added:

“Shifting my energy and focus to what I’m most excited about is what is right for me and I hope you’ll continue to support whatever creative projects I’m out here doing! I really love this album and I just want my fans to enjoy this with me. I hope I see so many of you on tour!”
