Iggy Azalea Supports Lil Nas X Following Criticisms Over His Sexed-Up Music Video ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea showed her support rapper, Lil Nas X, following criticisms over his music video ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’ in a statement on her Twitter account.

A few days ago, Lil Nas X released his highly-anticipated single ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name),’ which is the first song of 2021 and it has a crazy music video.

However, Iggy Azalea jumped to Instagram and supported Lil Nas X and his choices. Iggy put forward the idea that music is an art and it shouldn’t have limits on what it can reference.

The 30-year-old rapper said people who take issues with Lil Nas X for his works annoyed her. Continuing to express her arguments, Iggy stated that everybody should stop criticize like that.

Here’s what Iggy Azalea said:

“Music is Art. Art shouldn’t have limits on what it can reference. It annoys me like HELL ppl take issue with @LilNasX dancing on satan. Stop trying to make Art PG13 this ain’t the movies I’m so sick of it. Reference what you like if it’s relevant to the point you’re making.”
