Ja Rule Makes A Bold Claim About The Future Of The NBA Season

Rapper Ja Rule made an interesting claim about the NBA’s postponed season and said that if the season resumes, Brooklyn Nets may become the NBA champion at the end of the season.
As you already know, the 2019-2020 season of NBA was postponed due to coronavirus outbreak, and it hasn’t been made any official statement yet about the rest of the season and the league’s future.
While continuing the speculations about the future of the unfinished NBA season, on a recent Twitter post, the 44-year-old rapper has tweeted out a bold claim about the 2019-2020 NBA champion.
On Monday, Ja Rule said that Brooklyn Nets may win a championship this year If Nets all-star forward Kevin Durant returns from injury and the season resumes despite the coronavirus pandemic.
However, many Twitter users flocked to the comment section to say it was difficult that Nets wouldn’t win a championship this year. Also, they said that it was impossible for Kevin Durant to return from injury until the next season.
Here’s what Ja Rule said:
“If Kevin Durant back and the NBA resumes the season him and Kyrie Irving can win the championship this year, they are that good… with the surrounding pieces Brooklyn Nets got just as good a shot as anybody!!!”
A Twitter user named blakemharris commented and said:
“They already ran reports these last few days, that even if NBA season returned, KD would wait until 2020-21 season to return.”
Another fan named ShonnMetta mocked him and his past work like Fyre Fest:
“Nets= Fyre Fest 2.0”
