Henry “Hank” Aaron, a Hall of Famer whose 755 career home runs stood as the most in baseball for more than three decades, has died at the age of 86, the Atlanta Braves confirmed on Friday. In the statement, the Braves said, “He is dead peacefully in his sleep.”
After that sad death news of Hank Aaron, many of his friends and fans took to social media to pay their respects to the legend.
One of them was Jamie Foxx. The actor took to Instagram with a black-white picture of late legend Hank Aaron on Friday. Jamie paid his respect and tribute to the legendary baseball player by penning down a heartfelt tribute in the caption.
As a young man watching Hank Aaron, he inspired me beyond belief beyond the baseball field… The records he broke in Major League Baseball was a symbol to me that anything is possible!!
Although it is a sad day, I celebrate him and all that he accomplished…
