Jamie Foxx Reacts To The 20-Year-Old Black Man Daunte Wright’s Death In Brooklyn

The 20-year-old black man, Daunte Wright, is dead after being shot by police officers during a traffic stop on Sunday in the Twin Cities suburb of Brooklyn Center.

Following Daunte Wright’s death, police used tear gas and flash-bang grenades to clean protesters who had gathered in front of the Brooklyn Central Police Department earlier in the day.

The death of the 20-year-old black man caused reactions on social media. Singer and actor Jamie Foxx uploaded a photo of the black man and his son on his Instagram page.

The 53-year-old actor reacted by saying the mercy was over. Saying that Daunte Wright deserved better, Foxx raised her voice on social media.

Here’s what Jamie Foxx wrote:

“Look at this kid. With his kid. Where is the compassion? Where is the benefit of the doubt?? #Dauntewright you deserve better. We deserve better… god bless your family and u little one”

The Black Lives Matter movement came up after George Floyd was killed by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on May 25, 2020. Protesters flocked to the streets across the country despite the coronavirus pandemic. On the other hand, former police officer Derek Michael Chauvin, the murderer of George Floyd, is still on trial for murder.
