Jamie Foxx Reveals How He Feels After Receiving To Be The First African-American Lead In A Pixar Film

Singer and actor Jamie Foxx has shared his thoughts about his success after receiving Best Animated Movie in the 2021 Golden Globe Awards on his Instagram page.

Golden Globe 2021 awards have been announced and Amy Poehler and Tina Fey hosted the award ceremony. However, this year’s ceremony took place simultaneously in both New York and Los Angeles due to the coronavirus pandemic. The winners made their speeches virtually.

As we all know, Pixar’s Soul, starring Jamie Foxx, won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Film in 2021, beating out The Croods: A New Age and Onward.

Jamie Foxx jumped to Instagram on Sunday and shared his thoughts in a lengthy message after he received the Golden Globe for Best Animated Movie.

In the message, Jamie Foxx said that he is super excited and humbled to receive A Golden Globes for Best Animated Movie and Best Original Score. He continued to express his feeling and he felt great after receiving to be the first African-American lean in a Pixar film.

Here’s what Jamie Foxx stated:

“I am super excited and humbled… To receive A Golden Globes for best animated feature and best original score. there’s no way to describe how great it feels to be the first African-American lead in a Pixar film and to be acknowledged by the Hollywood foreign press!!!… with almost 2,000,000,000 streams and counting… @pixarsoul has not only been ground breaking…
